As you may have read on Friday, last week marked my 1 year anniversary on Substack!

For the past 365+ days I’ve been sharing the fun, frivolous and thoughtful twice a week right here.

Behind the scenes there was so much build up to bringing The List to a new platform. I’d been writing my Friday newsletter for 69 weeks already, and it had been consistently growing. But it also took A LOT of work to create a weekly issue. I came to a crossroads - either scale it back, let it go or…go all in.

I went with the latter and spent 3 months re-creating every past issue of THE LIST so that every subscriber would have access to every past recipe, print and recommendation. I wanted that $7 a month to feel like an easy yes because what I was offering was brimming with value. And then I went even further and added a second issue per week - the one you’re reading right now! A place where I could share my thoughts on everything from make up and fashion, to my life and mindset.

Over the past 123 weeks (!) there’s been some incredible side effects of sharing a weekly newsletter, so I thought I’d share them with you today.

If you’re thinking of starting a Substack, I’m happy to help. Just hit reply and I’ll answer as best as I can!

But for now, let’s get into:
