Issue #77 | The BEST Banana Bread, The trackies Bec Judd made me buy, A compelling true crime podcast, and a quote about hope
Plus the travel experience that makes me feel like Taylor Swift.
If you’re wondering why I look like a lady of the night/popstar from the 2000’s, let me explain…
A few weeks ago, my friends Cynthia and Bonnie, who do hair and make-up on me at Fox Sports, messaged to ask if I’d like to be the Drew Barrymore to their Charlotte Tilbury (make up icon) and Chris Appleton (hairdressing mega-star).
They sent me this reel:
I immediately said, “let’s do it"!”
I love playing dress ups, and we never get to do stuff like this for fun! And it was SO FUN!
We giggled at the mountain of fake blonde hair Bonnie styled on me. I’ve never felt classier. Or more like Christina Aguilera.
We ooh-ed and ahh-ed at the thick black eyeliner paired with the sparkliest eye shadow that Cynthia painted on me. I didn’t recognise myself! And as you can see, I really got into character…
Here’s the Drew/Chris/Charlotte version to our Em/Cynthia/Bonnie version:
And lastly, our reel:
Special mention to Bonnie who even brought a blazer, shirt and tie to look like Chris Appleton. It killed me hahaha.
Have you done anything fun, silly or embarrassing this week? If so, I’d love to hear allll about it! Share it in the comments why don’t you?
Now it’s time to get into Issue #77 of The List and today I’m sharing:
Today I’m sharing…
A quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson with the best attitude for each day
A true crime podcast that has me completely hooked
The extra-long track pants that Bec Judd herself told me to buy (and gave me personal styling tips for. Seriously.)
And the Banana Bread recipe that is one of the biggest hits ever with the girls
Have the happiest Friday! I hope you love today’s read - enjoy! :)
