In the past two days I’ve cooked 5 meals, listened to 6 podcasts, a full audiobook and read 10 newsletters, all in the name of procrastination.
Since I went pRoFeSsIoNaL on The List, I’ve started to put a little pressure on myself that this newsletter needs to be BIGGER! BETTER! MORE ENTERTAINING!
Which is not what The List is about.
The List is about being real. It’s about being authentic, truthful and trustworthy. It’s about talking about nothing and everything in the hopes of giving you a little escapism from your day. It’s about meeting you every Friday exactly where I’m at…and today, I’m a little unmotivated and procrastinate-y.

I won’t stay this way for long. One thing I’ve come to like about myself is that I quickly understand how I’m feeling and know what I need to do to course correct.
I’ll go for a run to give me endorphins, energy and a sense of pride and confidence.
I’ll meditate to feel calm and give me a perspective shift.
And I’ll do the exact thing I’m putting off, which releases all the stress I’ve been holding.
