Issue #75 | Classic Apple Crumble, Oprah's new book, The top I'm wearing on a hot date, and a quote to bring comfort.
And it's a long weekend! Yewwww!
When it’s cold, I want comfort.
So today I’m giving you all things cosy - from a classic winter dessert to the comforting tones of Oprah Winfrey. The perfect date night top, to a quote that feels like a hug and a few reads to help you sink lazily into the long weekend.
Winter gets a bad wrap. One of the things I love most about living in Adelaide is that we get four true seasons. Bright, hopeful springs become hot, dry summers, which give way to cool, cosy Autumns until we finally welcome in Winter. It’s a time for us to bunker down, take our foot ever so slightly off the pedal and maintain the solid foundations we’ve created. All ready for us to bloom again in Spring.
While life might not be terribly exciting right now, it doesn’t need to be. Take your cue from nature - slow down and allow yourself to enjoy the hibernation of Winter.
Let’s get into issue #75! Today I'm sharing:
A print about comfort
Oprah’s latest book written with Harvard professor on happiness
A new top I’m wearing on a hot date this Sunday night!
And a classic Apple Crumble recipe - I’ve been making this since I was a kid!
I hope you love issue #75! Enjoy!
