It's been a busy ol' time since last week!

I had so much fun commentating the Netball last Saturday. It was my first time in the ‘expert’ chair instead of sideline and I loved every second of it.

A weird little BTS for you - I wake up feeling hungover after every game. Headaches and tiredness are the main symptoms.

I think it's a combination of dehydration - we can't hydrate much because there's no time for a bathroom break while the game is on,

plus the adrenaline of live TV is REAL! I often get the shakes once we've finished. It's why I have to keep a bag of lollies on me at all times (that's what Bianca is hiding above) - the sugar really helps! But then the mix of adrenaline and sugar makes it tough to sleep afterwards.

I had the same problem when I played. Although, I'd probably consumed a coupla sneaky drinks as well ;)

Let's get into Issue #68 of The List, and today I'm sharing:

  • A quote about slowing down

  • A series I'm rewatching in anticipation of the next season dropping soon!

  • What I got for my birthday from Scanlan Theodore (thanks Mum!)

  • And the most addictive Granola (I can't keep it in the house!!)

Have the best Friday :)

“Slow down, you're doing fine"

Do you ever notice how fast you're moving? Whether it's physically - the speed at which you walk, the rate at which you talk, or constantly feeling in a rush.

Or perhaps your mind is always racing? Anticipating the next thing… And the next thing… And the next thing…

This quote serves as a reminder to slow down. You're enough as you are. There is enough time for everything. And It's all going to be ok.

My desired way of feeling is calm. I can even visualise exactly what it looks like - and it's the exact opposite of rushing.

When I'm calm I move slowly and with intention. I feel as though I have enough time, and I have a quiet confidence that everything will work out. I don't succumb to insecurities or anxieties.

Instead of waiting feel calm in order to move that way, I am trying to move slowly first. I believe if I move calmly, I will feel calm. Kind of reverse engineering it, you know?

I felt like someone else might need to hear this quote today. If that's you - print it out and pop it somewhere you can see it daily. It could even make a nice phone wallpaper.

And remember…slow down, you're doing fine :)
