I hope this week has been kind to you.

My brain is bursting at the seams with ideas this week. My creativity is in overflow and I want to bring a million things into the world at once. It's distracting, but mainly exciting. I can't wait to share what I'm cooking up!

Are you a Valentine's Day kind of person? Josh and I are approaching our first one together and I've not had to have that conversation in a long time! Neither of us are into it (everyday is Valentine's day here hahaha) but I'm curious about those that do celebrate?

Either way, I think love is awesome and can be celebrated on Feb 14 and every day around it :)

Okie dokie! Let's get into Issue #58. Today I'm sharing:

  • A quote with a design inspired by V-Day!

  • A book that backs up manifesting with research

  • The favourite thing I've put on my face recently

  • The salad recipe you've been waiting for

“What if your markers of success were how well you slept at night? How many books you read? How easily you laughed? How much time you spent storytelling, feeling warm in the arms and homes of people you adore."

It's easy to get caught up coveting things that don't really matter. I'm super grateful that I know in my heart of hearts that ‘things’ don't bring me lasting happiness.

I appreciate a beautiful home, a nice car or a new outfit. But it's kind of like a sugar fix - I get a little high and then the feeling dissipates.

The things that make me truly happy are real conversations, belly laughs, going after my goals, trying my best and bringing joy to others.

I still want the nice things, but they're the icing on the cake, not the main meal.

I hope you love this quote as much as I do! I also made it in the reverse colourway for you…inspired by Valentine's Day!
