Issue #57 | The juiciest Rosemary Lamb Burgers (obsessed), my fave P.E. Nation Jumper, Dream home inspo, and a quote about Going For It!
Plus, we're off on another adventure this weekend :)
We're officially leaping into February!
There’s 29 days this month. I love how they just add an extra one in every 4 years.
How was your week? Did you survive the back to school/ work/life routine?
We had the best time in Melbourne last weekend! The tennis was incredible. I want to make it an annual trip. All we did was eat pastries, walk for miles and drink Aperol Spritzes. It was heaven.
As you'll see from the above photo I was true to my word and wore the Kookai dress that I featured last week. Special shoutout to the block of Cadbury Marvellous Creations that looks like a clutch. Choccy is this seasons hottest accessory.
Let's get into Issue #57. In it I'm sharing:
A quote inspired by the leap year
A read that has me inspired to redecorate
My most worn item since Christmas
The recipe you voted for on the 'gram
I hope you love the issue!
“Sometimes all you have to do is go for it. Take a breath and jump. Because here’s the thing, you can spend forever standing at the foot of the diving board, and you will always find a reason not to go in. It’s too high; it might hurt; you might swallow water. And all of those l things are true, but you know what else is true? You’ll waste a perfectly good life standing on the edge when really the most beautiful thing you could do is go for it. Take the jump."
How many times have you thought of reasons NOT to do the thing you've always wanted to do? For me, I liken that to sitting in the cheap seats. It's easy to find problems and pick holes in an idea.
What if we spent more time focusing on reasons you CAN do something? Looking for solutions and reasons why it will work is harder, but it can change your life. Surround yourself with examples of people who have done what seems beyond you right now. Make it feel possible. Then start taking small steps towards it.
We are the ones who hold ourselves back more than circumstances. Have a go. See what happens. Life isn't made of absolutes. If you make a mistake, that's not the end point - it's a redirect. Go again.
And have some fun. We don't need to take ourselves so seriously. Take the jump!
