Did you head back to work this week?

If you did, I hope it was as pain-free as possible!

There's something nice about getting back into a routine, especially after a relaxing and well-deserved break.

I've been in Yamba this week with Josh and the girls. We're visiting his parents who live here and catching up with his brother and family too. It's such a beautiful spot!

If you're not familiar with Yamba, it's about an hour south of Byron Bay and is what I expect Byron would have been before it got so big. It's a small town with beautiful beaches, amazing cafes, restaurants and cute shops too.

It's only a quick trip for me - I head back to Adelaide today for my last couple of weekends on Weather with ch7.

Right, let's get into Issue #54. Today I'm sharing:

  • A quote inspired by the Sea

  • A book with a cult following

  • A beauty product I know nothing about

  • A recipe the girls love for special mornings

I hope you love the issue!

“Ups and downs are just the sea. You need them both to reach the shore”

I had a little bit of help with this weeks quote :) Harper has done a beautiful job at bringing the words to life. I almost forgot to include her name on the artwork, which she swiftly reminded me of. So it's even ‘signed’ by the artist.

The quote were inspired by our trip to Yamba and being surrounded by the stunning beaches. We had so much fun in the water - especially the waves (I even surfed for 0.5 seconds!) And this quote really rang true.

We want life to be smooth sailing, but the adventure, fun and growth comes from the ups and downs that push us to take a different path. With out them, life would be boring, predictable and stagnant - with them we get adventure and the excitement of the unknown.

I hope you love the print. It's one of my favourites to date.
