MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

It's almost here. I hope you've had a beautiful week leading up to the big day.

I've got a few days left of work before 5 days off and I cannot wait to switch off and have some chilled time with the family.

Today we hit issue #51 of The List! In it I'm sharing…

  • A quote about choosing your hard

  • A read that makes me feel on holidays

  • My new favourite earrings

  • A simple, wholesome and mouthwatering dessert

I hope you love the issue!

Mum and I often chat about the concept of “choosing your hard.”

It's come up a lot as the poor woman has listened to me go onnnn about being emotionally drained from starting new things and stepping outside of my comfort zone. She's reminded me that choosing your hard is just that - a choice. And it's one I'll make again and again.

I urge you to download this quote - I think it's a great philosophy to live by.

“It is hard to be in the wrong relationship, and it is hard to be in the right one. It is hard to stay at a job you hate, and it is hard to pursue your dreams. It is hard to be at war with yourself, and it is hard to heal. It is hard to resist your impulses, and it is hard to be controlled by them. It is hard to stay as you are, and it is hard to be vulnerable, to risk, to leap, to embrace the unknown. Everything is hard in some way, but you get to decide what you're willing to hurt for, what you're willing to try for, what you're willing to work for.You get to choose your hard.”
