Issue #48 | The quickest healthy chicken stir-fry, my favourite bronzing dupe, a quote about narrowing your focusing and an inspiring podcast!
Plus, I've got another super busy weekend. Give me strength!!
We're into the last week of the year and you know what I'm going to say…
Where did the time go!?
One of the best choices I made this year was to start The List.
I'm proud that I've brought a little fun and frivolity to your inbox every single week in 2023. It's been a pretty massive commitment, but my reward is hearing that it brings some joy to your week.
That was my one goal, and I hope I've achieved it :)
Ok, let's get down to business. Today we hit Issue #48 of The List, and in it I'm sharing…
A quote for my personal sanity
The podcast I'm currently loving
A beauty dupe I'm obsessed with
A very basic & healthy recipe to make in a pinch
I hope you love it!
There's a lot going on. I'm not saying that to sound busy or important, it just is.
I looked at Josh last night with fear and doubt overwhelming me, and said ‘how can I get everything done?’ I was short of breath just at the thought of my to-do list. He gave me a moment and said, “just focus on one thing at a time. You don't have to do it all now” It was the perfect re-set I needed.
Instead of waking up this morning thinking, I need to get up at 4am, write The List, go for a run, wash my hair, go to work, get to Christmas carols, get ready for my Christmas party, go to my Christmas party, prepare to paint for two days straight…the only thing I thought of waking up was: write The List. And I knew that was doable (the proof is that you'r reading it right now!)
So this quote is my mantra for the next week until I finish my full time job. Focus on the step infront of you, not the whole staircase. Ahhhh, just reading that feels better. I hope it helps you too.
