HAPPY 40TH!

No, I'm not 40 - there's still a few years before that milestone occurs - but The List is!

For 40 weeks in a row I've been gracing your inbox, and the fun isn't done yet.

Thank you - if you've been here since week one, or reading for the first time today! I know our inboxes can be the most dreaded part of the week, so I hope this lightens your load a little every Friday :)

So without further ado, let's get into issue #40!

Today I'm sharing:

  • A quote about inner thoughts

  • My favourite classic novel of all time

  • A pair of shoes I didn't return (and have worn on repeat already)

  • A healthy take on a classic that is a taste sensation (trust me)

Have the best Friday!

“People who learn to control the inner experience will always be able to determine the quality of life they have regardless of any outer circumstance" - Maryam Hasnaa

One of my biggest dislikes in life is a victim mentality. I don't like complaining or whingein. In myself it makes me feel trapped, like someone else is running my life and I don't have any power over what I do or how I feel.

This mentality had started creeping into my psyche and I  finally got to the point where the pain outweighed the discomfort of making a change.

I've implemented a new morning routine (I'll share it once it actually becomes a habit) and made the decision to stop complaining.

Instead I'm focusing on all the good in my life and choosing to see the best in situations. I have  chosen to take complete responsibility over what I do and how I feel, and that decision alone feels good.
