One of the things I'm working on at the moment is slowing down. My life is feeling a little hectic, and it's helped me realise the need for little pauses throughout my day.
Where I usually rush from one thing to the next, whether that be physically or in my mind, I'm working on being present in the moment and focusing on one task at a time. I have a long way to go, but it feels nice even bringing an awareness to it.
A couple of things I'm doing to get mini breaks in the my day are: choosing calm music on my drives to and from the gym and taking deeper breaths. It's incredible the difference tiny changes can make.
