I hate to sound like a broken record but…

Geez that week went fast!

Did you complete your check-in scan and goals from last week? Josh and I did ours and it was super interesting to see the areas of life that need the most attention.

For me it was definitely the ‘wealth/career’ category, followed by some small areas in health, but my mindset was tip-top!

If you haven't completed it, go back and give it a go. It's a worthy exercise I really believe in.

Let's get into issue #27. This week I'm sharing:

  • A quote I've shared with netball teams in the past

  • The show I'll be glued to this weekend

  • A comfy trans-seasonal dress (on sale!)

  • A dessert that looks impressive but is so easy

Have an amazing Friday!

Many years ago, I shared this quote with my Thunderbirds teammates. We were having a tough year on the court, playing with so much hesitation and fear. I thought this quote summed up perfectly the attitude we needed. When we show up completely as ourselves, go hard and play without fear, we allow others to do the same.

This quote has always resonated strongly with me. My automatic internal response  when good things happen to me is to feel bad about it. I ask myself, who am I to get this amazing opportunity/gift/etc? This message reminds me that playing small does not serve me, or anyone, and that I'm allowed to ‘shine’.

My team didn't miraculously start winning after I shared this quote, but it did help bond us through a tumultuous season.
