It's been a week.
I don't know how you're feeling, but this long weekend couldn't come quick enough for me! It's been a busy old time over here.
Before we get into this week, I've got one recap to share…
A few weeks ago I shared a Chocolate Chip Biscuit recipe and talked about freezing the dough. I can confirm that it works perfectly! On Wednesday night, Josh and I were craving something sweet. I remembered the dough, so chopped off 2 chunks, popped them in the oven and within 10 minutes we had warm biccies in our hands. It was heaven.

I'm writing this email to you at 5am this morning. To put it into context, I aim to have The List completed by Wednesday/Thursday each week. I'm currently chanting “You've Got This” over and over in my head as my eyes want to snooze.
Sometimes simple quotes are the best. I love a quick reminder that pulls me out of complaining mode. As my schedule has ramped up, reminding myself that I have enough time and energy for the things that are important to me helps me to get them done. I try really hard to make sure I still get my workouts in, get this newsletter done and make the time to connect with friends and family, on top of my full time job and extra work commitments. Believing I can fit it in, usually means I do.
And for the days when I'm running on a lack of sleep, repeating ‘You’ve Got This' feels like the one thing pushing me through to 5pm! Haha.
