Issue #22 | Easy Chicken Curry (Kid Friendly!), ONe of my favourite podcasts, A 2000's inspired top and a quote about being two things at once
Plus, I'm heading to Melbourne with the new boyfriend!
So we're basically halfway through the year.
What is going on?!
As June 30 approaches I feel like it's a good time to check in with the goals I set in January. Do you feel the same?
Let me know if you want me to include some goal setting workbooks or info in the coming weeks? I'd be happy to share :)
Whether it's your first time reading or you've been here since Issue #1, I hope you love this weeks recommendations!
This week I'm sharing:
A beautiful quote about being two things at once
A podcast that I learn so much from
A top that takes me back to the 2000's
An easy, tasty, family-friendly dinner
Have an awesome Friday!
I remember, back in my twenties, calling my Mum and complaining that I was a walking contradiction.
I would frustrate myself endlessly because I would change my mind on what I wanted out of life.
As I've grown older, I've realised that there is beauty in contrast, and it's best to embrace all sides of ourselves. We will need strength and vulnerability, fun and discipline at different points in our lives. Instead of putting limitations on myself, I choose to stay curious to what could be ahead of me.
We have room for more than one emotion at a time and we can be, do and have more than one thing at a time.
“At the end of the day it is okay to be brave and scared at the same time. To love traditions and also be inspired by future thinking. To thrive on routine and also enjoy the excitement of spontaneity. It’s okay to be realistic while also a risk-taker and a game-changer. It’s okay to be strong and simultaneously vulnerable. Life is made up of dualities and you never have to choose only one path. It’s okay to be a beautiful blend of two sides, even in the same moment.”
It's a nice little check-in for those of us trying to do more with less energy.
