What did you get up to this week?

We're working from home at the moment, so I took the opportunity to work one of my days from the hairdresser! It was nice to squeeze in a catch up with Mum and Dad, steal a loaf of Cath's fresh sourdough and get a fresh new do from the girls at Jarahs.

I hope you have found some pockets of joy within the working week!

Let's get into Issue #21 of The List!

This week I'm sharing:

  • A quote for those trying to do more with less energy

  • A fiction book I'm enjoying

  • My new favourite blazer

  • An incredible recipe for Asian Pulled Pork Rolls

I hope you love it!

Brianna Wiest has some of my favourite quotes. If you haven't heard of her, I recommend looking up some of her books, especially 101 Essays To Change The Way You Think.

For those who can't read my writing, the quote reads:

“Maybe you don't need to find more energy, maybe you just need to find a dream that makes you actually want to get up in the morning. Maybe you need to find something that gives back more than it takes. Maybe you need to stop trying to be good at the hundred things that do not light up your soul, and finally choose the one that does-the one that asks you to risk, to lay your heart bare, to try again, even though you're scared. You're not failing because you're not motivated. You're not supposed to get far on a path that was never yours to walk.”

It's a nice little check-in for those of us trying to do more with less energy.
